Our Annual Picnic was held at Echo Dell this past June and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location or more gracious hosts! Echo Dell has been in the Baldwin Family since 1949 and as most owners of historic properties do, Larry and Pam Baldwin work very hard to preserve the river front, care for the land properly, and preserve and maintain the home. We are ever grateful to them for hosting our Annual Picnic. Members enjoyed wonderful fellowship, great food, beautiful scenery, and hearing from our two Historical Society Scholarship Recipients for 2024, Rushi Patel and Tatum Wood. Rushi and Tatum are currently first year students at Virginia Tech and Germanna Community College, respectively.

We are also very excited to announce Echo Dell was chosen for our 2024 ornament! Echo Dell was a favorite of Jean Grahams and we thank the Membership for voting to approve Echo Dell at our May meeting, in honor of Jean. We will have the ornament for sale at the kG Fall Festival.
